I choose to write, as a contemporary Green activist, about distant wartime events from the Europe of seventy five years ago because I believe they give the most detailed picture of where the whole world is headed today.

I don't think the Nazis were a one-off aberration at all, but merely the extreme working out of what was/is always implicit within mainstream political and economic thought.

Their Final Extinction was merely our current Sixth Extinction - but on speed...
